Krystal Edwards, CNA
Certified Nursing Assistant
My background includes six years as an Emergency Room Technician and CNA at Calvert Health Medical Center, where I worked alongside physicians and nurses in high-pressure situations to deliver critical care. I developed expertise in vital sign monitoring, wound care, specimen collection, and emergency procedures - all while ensuring compassionate, dignified treatment for each patient.
In addition to emergency care, I honed my skills in outpatient settings through my work at Calvert Health Urgent Care Centers. There, I provided direct patient care, assisted with procedures, managed appointments, maintained accurate records, and trained new team members.
My years of experience extend beyond technical proficiency. I bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of patient needs—particularly for older adults and those with complex medical conditions. I am driven by a commitment to supporting patients in the comfort of their homes, helping to reduce hospitalizations and improve quality of life.
In my current role within our home-based primary care practice, I draw on this diverse background to provide essential care, build trusted relationships with patients and families, and collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless, effective service delivery.
