She attended the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. for her Bachelor's degree in Biology, and then obtained her nursing degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. She began her career working at Inova Fairfax Hospital as a critical care and trauma nurse, obtaining certifications in both progressive care and critical care nursing.

She earned her Associate's degrees in both Nursing and Arts from the Community College of Rhode Island before achieving academic excellence at Georgetown University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Dr. Omolola “Lola” Ogungbile is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience spanning acute care, long-term care, and home health. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
