Hannah Bolinger

Hannah Bolinger is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of clinical nursing experience and a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. She began her career after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland in 2004 and went on to complete dual Master of Science degrees in Family Nurse Practice (Herzing University) and Nursing Education (Walden University).


Hannah is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds active Maryland licensure as both a Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical background spans neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, women’s health, lactation consulting, medical weight management, and nursing education.


Before advancing into primary and obesity medicine, Hannah spent 19 years at Holy Cross Hospital’s Level IIIB Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she provided complex clinical care, mentored new nurses, and served as a relief charge nurse. She later founded and operated Helping Hands Lactation, providing personalized lactation care to mothers and families. Her experience also includes academic roles as an instructor with Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and Capella University, where she taught future nurses and supported their clinical development.

Hannah currently continues her work in obesity medicine and metabolic health, helping patients achieve long-term wellness through personalized, science-driven care. She is passionate about shared decision-making, health education, and empowering patients to take control of their health. She is also pursuing an advanced certificate in Obesity Medicine, further expanding her ability to support patients struggling with chronic weight-related diseases.


Outside of clinical practice, Hannah is known for her approachable style, strong clinical insight, and dedication to improving health outcomes for individuals and families across the lifespan.
