Palliative Care Provider

Dr. Nalynn Bellegarde is an experienced nurse practitioner with a strong background in palliative medicine, chronic illness management, and supportive care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Salisbury University, where she completed advanced clinical training and developed evidence-based education modules focused on improving access to palliative care. Her academic work includes national presentations and published research on quality palliative care and early symptom screening.

Before joining OnSite Medical House Calls, Nalynn served in palliative care roles at Johns Hopkins Hospital and ProMedica, providing consultative support for patients living with complex, life-limiting illnesses. She worked across inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and telemedicine settings, collaborating with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to help patients manage symptoms, clarify goals of care, and improve quality of life. Her earlier clinical foundation includes hospice nursing at Hospice of the Chesapeake, oncology nursing at Anne Arundel Medical Center, and work in critical care environments. These experiences shaped her patient-centered approach and her commitment to compassionate communication.

Nalynn also brings leadership experience from her work as Medical Director for Invigorate Wellness, where she developed clinical protocols and supervised staff. She remains passionate about educating patients, families, and healthcare teams on symptom management and supportive care strategies.

At OSM, Nalynn provides home-based palliative care with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, and clear clinical guidance. She believes strongly in meeting patients where they are and making complex medical care more accessible for those who need it most.
