Dr. Omolola “Lola” Ogungbile is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience spanning acute care, long-term care, and home health. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Lola’s clinical background includes extensive experience caring for medically complex adult and geriatric patients in both hospital and community settings. At the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, she provided high-quality care for acutely ill patients while collaborating across interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes. In her role with Minerva Home Health, she has continued to serve patients in their homes, administering specialty infusions and managing chronic conditions with skill and compassion.
Her doctoral work focused on implementing a structured self-measured blood pressure program (SMBP) to improve hypertension management, reflecting her commitment to empowering patients through education, prevention, and evidence-based care.
Lola is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Geriatrics Society, AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, and the Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians. She has been recognized multiple times with the DAISY Award for compassionate care from her patients.
